I had no idea the deep sea was filled with so many interesting and unique life forms before taking this course. Even more exciting was when our class was given the opportunity to explore the bottom of Coos Bay and the ocean bordering it, with OIMB’s Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) deployed off of our research vessel RV Pluteus.
