The Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (http://oimb.uoregon.edu) and the Department of Biology (http://biology.uoregon.edu) at the University of Oregon invite applications for a tenure-track (Assistant Professor) position in marine biology based at OIMB in Charleston, Oregon.
Individuals whose research interests are appropriate for a marine laboratory, complement the strengths of existing faculty, and whose teaching interests would add breadth to our Marine Biology major are encouraged to apply. Applications are welcome from any field of marine biology or ecology, including but not limited to population genetics, phylogeography, conservation ecology, global change biology, systematics, and cellular processes in development. The successful candidate will have an outstanding research program and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Ph.D. required.
